PANORAMA GOLF COURSE

Welcome to Panorama, a classic 1960s-era golf course that masterfully blends length, skill, & strategy. As you navigate the course, you'll encounter long par 4s that can feel like par 5s in challenging winds, alongside enticing short par 4s that offer the thrill of potential birdies or eagles for the daring. The gently sloping 160-acre valley, once fertile farmland, guides your play with diverse approach shots, ensuring each round feels both familiar & unique. Surrounded by lush lands & serene ponds, Panorama is not only a golfer's paradise but also a haven for local wildlife, creating an unforgettable golfing experience.

Panorama Golf Course is where history & passion intertwine. Founded in 1964 by Paul Vauter, who was inspired by "The King", legendary golfer, Arnold Palmer, he took a chance at a better life for himself & his family by transforming the family farm, Meadow Breeze, into an inviting haven for golfers, then known as Crystal Lake Golf Course.  Eventually, with encouragement from his wife, Peg, they changed the name to Panorama Golf Course to reflect upon the breathtaking & endless views from the course.

Paul's dedication & nurturing ways combined with the heart & soul of a farmer, helped Panorama to not only grow, but thrive.  Panorama's seed was planted at just the right time, as the golf world began to expand. There was no previous time period when a farm turned public golf course in the remote corner of Northeast Pennsylvania's Endless Mountains would have been destined to succeed.

As legions of "Arnie’s Army" were marching forth to emulate the player & pick up their own set of clubs, they found Panorama nestled in the countryside. Here they discovered an emerald field of play which was not concealed behind six month’s salary, tall hedge rows & pretentious iron gates exclusively reserved for privileged elites, but rather, a panoramic golfscape welcoming to anyone with a few extra dollars, a set of clubs, & a desire to experience the joy that only the greatest game there is can bring.

With breathtaking vistas & an open-door policy, our family-owned & operated course offers an experience that celebrates the spirit of the game &the beauty of the countryside.  Join us today at Panorama Golf Course, where every swing is a tribute to the love of golf & the memory of our founder and king, Paul Vauter.
